Can I make my book available for preorder?

Yes. As long as you have submitted your New Title Questionnaire and approved your final print-ready cover and interior files, we can set a predetermined publication date for your book. The publication date can be no fewer than sixty days after file approval in order to avoid potential availability issues with retailers. We also strongly recommend against any file changes or metadata changes during the preorder period.

• Example: If you approve your files on January 1, the earliest allowable publication date would be March 1.

There is no extra charge to set up your book as a preorder.

Preorder periods and dates are irrevocable on Amazon. Once we list your book for preorder on Amazon, they will not allow us to change the publication date.
